Aeroplas (UK) Ltd specialise in thermoplastic injection mouldings manufacturing the following; shrub containers, thermo pots, transport trays, bedding plant pack packs, coat hangers, glasses, tumblers, trays and plates.

Our initial free of charge desktop survey revealed that the site was non-compliant with Power Factor legislation and significant ‘Reactive Charges’ were being applied by their energy supplier.

After our detailed site survey, we recommended the introduction of Power Factor Correction equipment on one supply not already benefitting and repairs to the PFC on two supplies which contained failing PFC equipment.

Our recommendations were applied, and the electrical efficiency was improved to around 95% leading to a significant reduction in ‘Reactive Charges’ and a Return on Investment of 13 Months.
